Coming Home
Coming home is a strange and fuzzy idea but a vital experience for individual and groups of humans.
I wrote about it 15 years ago in trying to understand the vicissitudes of Mehmet who ended up in my group therapy sessions while being deeply wounded by racist violence in the Dutch Army.

Since I met him and other young men from Dutch migrant families I had to probe further and further what it means for humans to feel deeply safe, to come home and to belong.
